Effective date: September 23, 2026. This privacy policy describes how Candy Shorts AI (candy-shorts-ai.com) treats visitor data. The operator is the publisher of the site, called “we” or “the site” below, reachable at contact@candy-shorts-ai.com or via the contact page.

The short version

No accounts. Reading a guide never requires a name, email address or payment details.
Two small flags live in your browser: your 18+ confirmation and your analytics decision, plus a few sidebar layout preferences.
Google Analytics 4 runs only after you press “Accept” in the analytics banner. “Decline”, or silence, keeps every analytics script off.
We do not sell personal information, run ad networks or host any Candy AI or Candy Shorts video.

Candy Shorts AI is an independent editorial project with no affiliation to Candy.ai, to CandyShorts or to EverAI Ltd. Once you follow a link to the official platform, its privacy notice takes over.

Settings stored in your browser

As an age-restricted publication, the site has to remember a couple of choices between page loads. They go into localStorage, with a matching first-party cookie for the two flags. None of these values identifies you.

Every entry can be removed at any moment from your browser’s site-data settings; the age check and the analytics banner then reappear on your next visit.

Optional analytics

If you press “Accept”, the site loads Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC (Google Ireland Limited for visitors in the European Economic Area). The tag reports which pages were opened, an approximate region derived from a shortened IP address, the device and browser family, and the referring site. While analytics are active, a click on a “Watch on Candy AI” button is also counted as an event naming the button and the page, with no identifier for you. IP anonymization is on, advertising storage stays denied and no user identifiers are attached. Google’s cookies in this mode can remain for up to two years; Google’s own privacy policy covers its handling.

If you press “Decline” or leave the banner untouched, no analytics script loads and nothing reaches Google. To change your mind later, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which erases your stored choice and brings the banner back.

Hosting and server logs

Our hosting provider may keep routine technical logs: requesting IP address, URL, user-agent string and timestamp. They serve security monitoring and error diagnosis, are held briefly, and are neither merged with other data nor used to single out readers.

When you email us

Writing to contact@ or dmca@candy-shorts-ai.com means your address and message land in our inbox. Both are used solely to reply and to keep a record of the exchange; takedown notices are retained as long as reasonably required to document how a claim was handled. The procedure is on the contact and DMCA page.

Legal bases for visitors in the EEA and UK

Age confirmation, consent flag and interface preferences: our legitimate interest in running an adult-topic publication, plus the legal duties attached to it.
Analytics: your consent, which you can revoke at any time as explained above.
Correspondence: legitimate interest and, where a notice or complaint is involved, compliance with a legal obligation.

Your rights and how to exercise them

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be entitled to access, rectify, erase or restrict personal data about you, to object to certain processing, to receive a portable copy, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Since the site holds almost nothing about any reader, clearing your site data satisfies most of these rights immediately; for email correspondence, write to us.

California residents: nothing here is sold or shared in the sense used by the CCPA and CPRA, and no sensitive personal information, as those laws define it, is collected or used.

International transfers

If you opt in to analytics, Google may process the data in the United States and elsewhere, supported by standard contractual clauses and, where it applies, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Minors

This site covers an adult subject for readers 18 and over and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly gather data from a reader under 18; should you suspect a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
