I clicked on Under Her Watch mostly to see how a beach-club setting would look in this format, and the answer is: better than the family-house sets. Sand and water give the generated footage something to do with the frame.

Under Her Watch is the Candy Shorts series that casts Sophie Dee’s AI digital twin as the lead, released under the official Sophie Dee x candy.ai label. The premise, as the platform describes it: her character guards the water at a private beach club, and the summer changes course the day she pulls the boss’s nephew out of it. He is young and staying all season. The platform frames what follows as a forbidden summer entanglement, with the nephew learning a few lessons from the woman in charge.

Two things set this title apart inside the Candy Creators lineup: the setting is a workplace rather than the family home or campus of the other creator series, and the twin plays the authority figure instead of the newcomer. In September 2026 the title’s own page on candyshorts.com listed five numbered episodes, and the Candy.ai Shorts feed carried it in the Shorts featuring Creators row, with Episodes 3 to 5 marked New. Episode 1 runs about a minute and a half, the longest opener among the creator series; the rest fall in the usual one-to-three-minute range. Because the listings give each episode a number and no name, the table below sorts them into ranges.

Earlier in September 2026 the platform also gave the series a New episodes status, which has since come off; nothing beyond Episode 5 has been announced.

Characters

• The lifeguard (Sophie Dee’s digital twin): runs the beach club her own way and holds the authority in every scene. On the poster she wears a red lifeguard swimsuit, with the club behind her. A licensed AI likeness; the real Sophie Dee filmed nothing.
• The boss’s nephew: the young man she pulls from the surf in Episode 1, at the club for the summer and the reason it gets complicated.

What is free and what is paid

Under Her Watch follows the platform’s default access rule. Sign up for a free Candy.ai account and pass the age check, and the first two episodes play at no charge. Episodes 3 through 5 need a Premium plan: in September 2026 a single month cost $13.99, and annual billing brought the rate down to $3.99 a month. Tokens in the Candy.ai app also cover some unlocks. Editorial take

Confession: I did not think a series this short could make a setting feel like a character, and the club manages it. That is rarer than it should be in this catalog.

The case for Under Her Watch is the casting. Putting the lineup’s most experienced creator in the position of authority gives the story a different rhythm from the step-sibling and dorm-room titles, and the beach setting is the most visually distinct in the Candy Creators row. The long opener does more setup than most first episodes, so the free sample is a fair one.

The case against it is length and pace. Five episodes of one to three minutes is a thin run, and a workplace slow burn needs room the format does not give it. On its own it hardly justifies Premium; as one more title in a subscription you already use, next to the rest of the Candy Shorts series guides, it earns its place.
