Small confession: I queued this one up expecting filler between the longer titles, and finished the whole arc in one sitting without once checking how much was left.

Roxy’s Wet Weekend on Candy AI: the premise

Roxy’s Wet Weekend is one of the shorter titles in the Candy Shorts catalog, the short-series product sold through candyshorts.com and inside Candy.ai. Roxy is stuck at home for a weekend with a stepbrother who keeps looking at her in a way she has spent months trying to ignore. The official description poses it as a question: she cannot stand it anymore, or maybe she can. The story turns on the moment she stops fighting her own reaction.

The title does two jobs: the weekend is literally rained in, and it is also where things heat up between the two characters. Where Mona’s Worst Enemy stretches a similar step-sibling friction across fifteen episodes, this one gets to the point fast: annoyance early, a complication in the middle, a change of heart at the close.

All five episodes

As of September 2026 the official page numbers its five episodes rather than titling them. Runtimes sit in the usual Candy Shorts range of one to three minutes.

The full run takes about a quarter of an hour. On the platform it sits in the Girls category, tagged Stepsister.

Characters

• Roxy is the lead: defensive, quick with a comeback, and used to keeping her private life out of the family’s sight until the weekend removes that option.
• The stepbrother has no name in the public description. Persistent, attentive to the point of intrusive, and the reason the weekend does not go as planned.

Both are AI-generated. The platform’s terms state that every character and event is fictional and no real person is depicted.

My honest read after episode two: the dialogue is sharper than the premise suggests, and Roxy’s pushback is genuinely funny in a couple of exchanges. Not what I expected from a title with this name.

Editorial take

This is the Candy Shorts format stripped to its essentials: one house, two characters, five episodes and a title that spoils its own ending. Longer series on the platform tend to sag in the middle, and Roxy’s story has no middle to sag. The single setting also keeps the AI generation visually consistent from one episode to the next.

The trade-off is depth. If you want more moving parts and more room to breathe, Caught Between Sisters is the better pick. As a first complete arc to sample, though, this one is hard to beat: two free episodes tell you whether the tone works, and the paid remainder costs very little to finish.

I came for a quick sample and ended up recommending it to a friend as the place to start with the whole catalog: not the best series, but the one you can finish before your coffee cools.
