Jake and Tessa are a struggling couple, so they book sessions with a bold therapist, Margot Vey. She does not stay on her side of the notepad. In the Couples Therapy With Margot Vey Candy AI series she inserts herself into their sessions and then into their private life, and her “hands-on” lessons blur treatment and temptation. The platform tags it Wife. On the poster a blonde therapist in glasses holds a notepad, with a couple on a couch behind her.

A therapist is the one character who can label anything part of the process, and I suspect that loophole is the series’ favorite joke.

Our October 17 check (18:15 UTC) did not list this series; the October 20 check (14:17 UTC) did, as series 335 with episode IDs 1148 to 1152. By ID it is the second of ten new series listed by 14:42 UTC that day, lifting the Candy AI Shorts catalog from 162 titles to 172. Lodge 69 Was Double Booked (343) was the newest title at the 14:17 check; a later arrival had replaced it by 14:42. Candy does not date its launches, so the stretch between those two checks is as precise as we can be. By October 29 its card had dropped off the platform’s New filter.

Episodes are labeled by number only, without titles or blurbs, and the format keeps each to roughly one to three minutes.

All three are generated adults from the platform’s original cast, and no creator twin is involved. Once episode 5 ends, the player invites you to talk to Margot Vey in a Candy AI chat; she is a Candy character like the rest of the cast. The same chat name, Margot Vey, turns up on My Best Friend’s Mom Teaches Pilates, though the platform does not say the two are one person.

Two clients and one professional is a small cast for a three-minute format, and I think that is why it should work: the whole story fits in one consulting room.

Editorial take

The strongest idea is the profession. A therapist already has a reason to be in the room, to ask personal questions and to set homework, so every step toward “hands-on” can pass as method. That gives a three-minute episode a built-in rhythm of session, assignment and next session, and it gives the title its irony.

The caution is the one every authority-figure premise carries. The synopsis announces where the story is heading, so Jake and Tessa need to feel like people rather than props for her lessons, and five short episodes leave little time for that. The free pair shows whether the couple gets a voice.

One concession up front: calling it therapy is a better excuse than most of the catalog manages.
