Under the Chief on Candy AI: a new hire and a locked door

Harriet is new to the hospital and still awkward at the job when the chief of surgery shuts the on-call room door and offers some “hands-on training”. She did not see it coming. Outside waits the head nurse, jealous of her and set on seeing her fired. Under the Chief is an original Candy AI series built on one hospital and one door.

I clicked for the title, a better double meaning than it has any right to be, and stayed curious about the head nurse: a guard outside a locked door turns a pair into a trio.

Eighth of thirteen arrivals, between October 12 and 17

Candy.ai’s catalog had no series 328 when we looked on October 12, 2026 and carried it with episode IDs 1113 to 1117 on October 17; no launch date is published, so “between the two looks” is as close as we can get. It is the eighth by ID of the thirteen newcomers. When we checked on October 17 it wore the New Episodes badge and sat in the New filter; by October 20 it was no longer there. It is not Spicy and has no theme tag.

Five episodes, two of them free

The listing shows five numbered episodes and nothing else: no titles, no summaries. Each runs the format’s one to three minutes; we timed none.

Harriet, the chief and the head nurse

• Harriet: the newcomer, awkward in the job; the chat character at the end is listed as Harriet Seagrave.
• The chief of surgery: unnamed, the one who locks the door.
• The head nurse: unnamed, jealous and waiting outside.

Only Harriet is named, and no ages are given. All three are fictional adults drawn from the original roster, with no Candy Creators twin among them, and no real hospital or clinician is depicted.

The player closes this series with an invitation to chat with a named Candy AI character: Harriet Seagrave, the same Candy chat character offered after Mum Got Sick On Our Holiday, series 329. That listing makes her 23 and nervous; this one gives no age.

What it costs: 12 tokens a locked episode

The last three episodes take 12 tokens each, 36 in all, which comes to nearly $3.60 on the smallest pack; creator series ask 30. At $3.60 the price is not the question. What I want to know is whether the head nurse gets more than one corridor before the tokens are gone.

• Under Her Watch: Sophie Dee’s twin as a lifeguard who runs a beach club. There the authority is the lead; here she is the newcomer.
• Couples Therapy With Margot Vey: a therapist whose “hands-on” lessons blur treatment and temptation, much as the chief’s training does here.
• Under The Captain: another workplace hierarchy, with a first-day stewardess on a superyacht and an owner who notices her.

Editorial take

A hospital gives the story a ladder: a chief, a head nurse and a newcomer, each with something to want from the other two. The on-call room suits short episodes, and the jealous head nurse is the best idea in the listing: a rival outside the door means the tension does not rest on the two people inside.

The doubt is how much the free pair can show. The synopsis already gives the surprise and the threat, so the locked three must do the developing, and a boss-and-new-hire setup rests on rank, which will decide it for some readers.

Verdict for now: promising, thanks to the corridor more than the room. I will unlock episode 3 if the head nurse earns it.
